I've never done this before, but YouTube has some helpful guides on truing motorcycle wheels. I'd definitely recommend a truing/balancing stand similar to this one below. Start by hand tightening the nipples as evenly as possible on all the spokes. Gently turn the wheel and correct any hops or wobbles, then begin tightening the spokes with a spoke wrench slowly and evenly all around the rim. At one point I had to loosen them all and start over because of a hop I couldn't correct. It just takes time I guess until you build your skill level. I'm still not done with it - I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'm impressed! You're a very patient man. I expect I'd have had more hops and wobbles to deal with due to warping from throwing the pieces around the room during the lacing phase. I'm sure the accomplishment (and figuring it out on your own) must be very satisfying. Congratulations!
